Local Steps That Feed Futures: Randy’s Flooring Helps Reduce Local School Lunch Debt
Flooring, we believe the impact of a new floor can extend far beyond the walls of a home. Through our Local Steps That Feed Futures initiative, purchases of qualifying Mohawk hard surface flooring are helping support students right here in Eastern Iowa.
Flooring That Gives Back
For every square foot of qualifying Mohawk hard surface flooring sold at Randy’s Flooring, 10 cents is donated to help reduce school lunch debt in our local communities.
The initiative supports schools in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas, turning everyday home improvement projects into an opportunity to make a difference for local students and families.
It is a simple idea: when our customers invest in their homes, we invest a little more back into the communities we all call home.
$1,500 Donated in Our First Year
During the first year of Local Steps That Feed Futures, Randy’s Flooring was proud to donate $1,500 toward local school lunch debt.
As another school year gets underway, we are continuing the program and looking forward to building on that impact.
For our employee-owners, community involvement is about more than writing a check. We live, work, raise our families and support our schools throughout the same communities as our customers. Finding ways to connect what we do every day with organizations and causes close to home is an important part of who we are.
Your Project Can Be Part of It
